Playhouse Raffle Official Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket for the Riverside Healthcare Foundation Playhouse Raffle, participants acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information at the time of purchase.
• Winners do not need to reside within Illinois; however, the delivery location must be within 30 miles of Riverside Medical Center, located at 350 N. Wall Street, Kankakee, Illinois 60901.

Raffle Structure

• Two separate raffles will be conducted:
  • Johnson-Downs Construction Playhouse
  • Glade Plumbing & Piping Playhouse
• Participants may enter either raffle or both raffles.
• Each playhouse will have one winner.
• If the same individual is selected for both playhouses, an alternate winner will be selected for the second playhouse.

Drawing & Notification

• The drawing is currently scheduled for July 10, 2026 and may be livestreamed.
• Winners need not be present to win.
• Winners will be contacted using the email address and phone number provided at checkout.
• Winners must respond by 5:00 p.m. on July 13, 2026.
• Riverside Healthcare Foundation is not responsible for incorrect contact information, undeliverable emails, unanswered phone calls, spam filters, or other communication issues.
• Failure to respond by the deadline will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

Delivery

• Delivery is anticipated between July 14–17, 2026 during normal business hours and will be coordinated with the Riverside Healthcare Foundation.
• Winners must be available to accept delivery during the designated delivery period or make alternative arrangements approved by Riverside Healthcare Foundation.
• Riverside Healthcare Foundation and Craig’s Landscaping will make reasonable efforts to place the playhouse in the winner’s desired location.
• Craig’s Landscaping shall have sole discretion regarding site accessibility, delivery methods, placement feasibility, and safety considerations.
• If the requested location cannot be safely accessed or accommodated, the playhouse will be delivered to another accessible location on the winner’s property.
• Once delivered to an accessible location on the property, any relocation, repositioning, installation, site preparation, or modifications become the sole responsibility of the winner.
• Riverside Healthcare Foundation, Craig’s Landscaping, and all affiliated partners assume no responsibility for moving or relocating the playhouse after delivery.

Property Requirements

• Winners are responsible for obtaining any necessary approvals, permits, homeowner association approvals, landlord permission, or other authorizations related to placement of the playhouse.
• Winners are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local ordinances, zoning regulations, easements, lease agreements, and property restrictions.

Playhouse Acceptance

• Playhouses are awarded in their current condition and accepted “as is.”
• The playhouses were donated and assembled by community partners and are provided without warranty, express or implied.
• Riverside Healthcare Foundation reserves the right to repair a playhouse, adjust delivery timelines, or make reasonable accommodations if damage occurs prior to delivery.
• Approximate dimensions and specifications for each playhouse are available on the official raffle website. Participants are encouraged to review all dimensions and delivery requirements before purchasing tickets.

Liability

• Upon delivery, ownership, responsibility, and risk transfer to the winner.
• The winner assumes all responsibility for inspection, maintenance, supervision, installation, relocation, and safe use of the playhouse.
• By accepting the prize, the winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Riverside Healthcare Foundation, Riverside Healthcare, Johnson-Downs Construction, Glade Plumbing & Piping, Milner Media Partners, Craig’s Landscaping, and their respective employees, volunteers, sponsors, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from ownership, possession, maintenance, relocation, installation, condition, or use of the playhouse after delivery.

Publicity

• By accepting a prize, winners grant Riverside Healthcare Foundation permission to use their name, likeness, photograph, and statements for promotional purposes related to the raffle without additional compensation.

General Conditions

• Prizes have no cash value and may not be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
• Failure to meet eligibility or delivery requirements will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
• Riverside Healthcare Foundation reserves the right to modify raffle procedures, timelines, drawing dates, or other administrative aspects of the raffle as necessary.
• All decisions made by Riverside Healthcare Foundation regarding the raffle and prize fulfillment shall be final.
• Void where prohibited by law.
